Keeping this simple... I've lived in Texas my whole life. Grew up in Grand Prairie, the middle of Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex. It was a nice, surburban childhood. I've lived in Austin for ten years, moved here on New Year's Eve 1994. Nerdstar moved in with me in May of 1995, we've got two cats, a dog, and a couple of fish.
If you want to know more I can only recommend the archives or the category pages. As one of my many favorite Ani quotes states - you know, taken out of context I must seem so strange. There's more than enough context that if I still seem strange, well, then maybe I am.

Nerdstar and I moved up to the great midwest - or as we like to call it, Pergatory, about a year ago. I'm about to embark on a career as a phlebotomist.

Well, we made it out of Pergatory into a deep freeze!! We've still got two cats and a dog. We're not sure why it's so hard to find a job we love in a city we love, but it's been ellusive so far.
